About the University	Yeditepe University, a foundation university with public legal personality, financial and administrative autonomy, has been providing law education since 1996, within the framework of the Higher Education Law, which was established in 1996 with the Law No. 4142. Yeditepe University Faculty of Law has been continuing its education activities on the main campus of the 26 August Campus in Ataşehir since 2001. Yeditepe University Faculty of Law, which has a history of nearly twenty years, recruits a total of 150 students each year, including full, semi-supported and non-scholarship. The number of students we receive as scholarships has been increasing since the day we were founded. The founding dean of our faculty, our faculty member Prof. Dr. He is Yaşar GÜRBÜZ . GÜRBÜZ, who resigned from his duty as dean in 2002, was appointed by Prof. Dr. Haluk KABAALIOĞLU took over. Since 2017, the deanship is Prof. Dr. It is carried out by Sultan UZELTÜRK . The aim of Yeditepe University Faculty of Law is to train lawyers who know English and German well, are knowledgeable in other fields of social sciences as well as law, believe in the rule of law, are honest, defend the interests of the country and contribute to the development of the Turkish legal system. From the beginning of education and training at the Faculty of Law, it is aimed to train lawyers who have an advanced command of at least one foreign language and can work in the international arena. The fact that a significant majority of the courses are in English and the number of courses taught in foreign languages ​​has increased steadily over the years is proof of this. It is aimed that our graduates, who learn the basic principles of European and American Legal Systems as well as Turkish Law, have the knowledge to meet the needs of our country in the 21st century. It is aimed that our graduates adapt to working life without wasting time with our training program, which includes practical course hours as well as theoretical course hours. In addition, our Faculty's students are constantly encouraged to participate in various academic activities. Our students attend the summer school organized by the American Washington College of Law every year during the summer months. In addition, in 2010, our students organized the Ord. prof. Dr. Hıfzı Veldet VELİDEDEOĞLU being the first in Turkey in the Fictional Hearing Competition,

Extra requirements	Bilkent University is an English medium University. Therefore, you would need to provide a proof of your English proficiency: an equivalent to a CEFR level B2 at the moment of application and C1 at the moment of departure. Students from the English taught LLB and LLM programme are exempt from this requirement.
Important information	You will need a "student visa" to enter Turkey. Please make sure that you apply for the student visa at the Turkish Consulate in your country as soon as you receive your acceptance letter. Make travel arrangements accordingly, so that you will allow adequate time for your visa to be processed prior to your departure. Exchange students are allowed to also take Master level courses in Turkish or courses from other faculties held in English, German, French, Italian or Spanish. Financial support / Grants	More information on study and placement grants for law students can be found at the website www.rug.nl/law/lep. An Erasmus+ grant covers part of the travel and accommodation expenses involved in studying abroad. At the moment the Erasmus+ grant has been set at € 240 - € 360 per calendar month, depending on the country of your host university. This may change per academic year. Your application for an exchange period at one of the Faculty's partner universities also counts as your application for a grant. When you receive notification of a place for study abroad, you will also learn whether or not you have been awarded a Erasmus grant and receive more information on the Erasmus grant.
