Extra requirements	You would need to provide a proof of your French proficiency: an equivalent to a CEFR level B2 at the moment of application and C1 at the moment of departure. Please note that there is a limited range of courses taught in English. You will not be able to obtain 30 ECTS only from the English taught courses.

Financial support / Grants	More information on study and placement grants for law students can be found at the website www.rug.nl/law/lep. For studying in countries inside Europe students can apply for a grant from Erasmus+, which comprises of EU funds. Erasmus+ grants do not cover travel and residential expenses completely; they are merely a contribution towards the extra costs involved in studying abroad. In 2017-2018 the Erasmus+ grant has been set at € 330 - € 390 per calendar month, depending on the country of your host university with a maximum of 5 months. This may change per academic year. Your application for an exchange period at one of the Faculty's partner universities also counts as your application for a grant. When you receive notification of a place for study abroad, you will also learn more about the Erasmus grant.
