About the University	Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM; English: Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education), also known as Tecnológico de Monterrey or just Tec, is a private research university based in Monterrey, Mexico, which has grown to include 35 campuses throughout the country. The university was founded in 1943 by Eugenio Garza Sada, an MIT-educated industrialist. As of 2019, it is the 15th university in the world with the highest number of billionaire alumni according to Times Higher Education and the only university in Latin America to appear in the ranking. ITESM is also known as being the first university to be connected to the Internet in Ibero-America, having the top-ranked business school in the region according to the Economist, and being one of the leaders in patent applications among Mexican universities.

Important information	The university has 4 main campuses in 4 different cities: Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey and Querétaro. Financial support / Grants	More information on study and placement grants for law students can be found on the website www.rug.nl/law/lep. A Marco Polo grant covers part of the travel and accommodation expenses involved in studying abroad. At the moment the Marco Polo grant has been set at € 210 - € 330 per calendar month, depending on the country of your host university. This may change per academic year. Your application for an exchange period at one of the Faculty's partner universities also counts as your application for a grant. When you receive notification of a place for study abroad, you will also learn more about the Marco Polo grant.
